Solution
The AI that documents your recipes for you
Before Nooko AI, enriching a tech sheet, harmonising recipe names or writing preparation steps meant hours of manual work for each recipe. Now the AI assistant built into CalcMenu suggests descriptions, preparation steps and missing data directly inside your sheets — you review, edit or accept with one click. Documentation keeps pace with your production, with no delay and no re-entry.
Why this feature matters
This feature is built directly into the CalcMenu recipe and menu database. The same data serves kitchen, service, and administration—no re-entry, no paper versions.

What it gives you
Complete tech sheets without the effort
Nooko AI analyses the name, ingredients and category of a recipe to automatically generate a commercial description, a structured preparation method and serving suggestions. Empty fields that were blocking a menu from being published or a commis from being trained are filled instantly, with no external copywriter needed.
Consistent names and descriptions across the catalogue
In multi-site kitchens — airports, stadiums, theme parks, contract catering — the same preparation can carry ten different names depending on the site or the chef. Nooko AI spots potential duplicates, suggests standardised labels and harmonises the editorial tone across the whole catalogue without requiring a manual rewrite sheet by sheet.
Multilingual documentation accelerated
Nooko AI generates descriptions and preparation methods in the languages of your choice, aligned with local culinary terminology. For operators active in international environments — cruise ships, world exhibitions, multicultural airports — this means sheets for teams, guests or partners are available without waiting for a human translator.
How it works
1. Activate Nooko AI on your catalogue
In CalcMenu settings, activate the Nooko AI module and choose your target languages, editorial tone (gastronomic, contract catering, events) and the fields to enrich first — commercial description, preparation method, pairing suggestions or allergen information. No additional technical integration is required: the AI works from the data already in your database.
2. Generate and review suggestions
Launch enrichment on a selection of recipes or across the whole catalogue. Nooko AI delivers its suggestions directly into the relevant fields, clearly marked as proposals awaiting validation. Each suggestion is editable: you accept, rephrase or reject with one click, sheet by sheet or in bulk, without ever leaving the CalcMenu interface.
3. Publish enriched, synchronised sheets
Once validated, the descriptions and preparation methods generated by Nooko AI become an integral part of the CalcMenu sheet and propagate automatically wherever the recipe is used: printed menus, ordering kiosks, partner exports and brigade training. If the recipe evolves, the AI can be re-run to update only the affected fields, leaving the rest of the sheet untouched.

For which sectors
From contract catering central kitchens to event venue and marine operators, teams using Nooko AI remove the documentation bottleneck that blocks a menu from going live or a recipe from rolling out to a new site: the assistant generates missing content from existing data, and the chef validates rather than writes.
