When R&D wants to launch a new sandwich or pastry, they test it in a handful of pilot stores, refine the costs and allergen data, then roll it out with a single action. Specification sheets, labels and pricing update simultaneously across every affected location.
Multi-Country Operations, Without the Headache
A chain expanding internationally must manage local suppliers, varying regulations and multiple languages. CalcMenu structures recipes so that allergen declarations and nutritional values are calculated once, then adapted to local requirements — EU 1169/2011, US FDA, GCC standards and beyond.
Labels can be generated in each store’s local language from the same central database. A supplier change in Italy has no impact on information displayed in Spain — unless you decide it should.
Margin Control, at Scale
In a chain, a variance of a few cents on a single recipe multiplies across hundreds of thousands of transactions. CalcMenu calculates the theoretical food cost from master recipes and compares it against sales data fed in from your POS systems and delivery platforms.
