Every meal consumed, swapped or saved from waste earns points. Teams and sites rank on a leaderboard that rewards responsible behaviour.

Returned portion tracking

Returned trays or portions are logged with dish, component and quantity. The chef is alerted when a resident refuses meals for two consecutive days.

Undernutrition & MNA screening

The built-in MNA form lets dietitians and doctors enter screening criteria. CalcMenu calculates nutritional risk and triggers alerts for residents who need follow-up.

How it works

1. The employee reserves via the app or a QR code

Accessible from smartphone, tablet or kiosk. The interface shows today's dishes filtered by profile, available slots, group invites and AI assistant suggestions.

2. The kitchen receives the consolidated plan and alerts

At the configured time, CalcMenu sends the production order: dishes, quantities, slots, diets and allergens. Returned-tray and MNA alerts appear on the kitchen dashboard for care staff.

3. The marketplace and leaderboard drive engagement

Unwanted meals are offered to other users. Every anti-waste action feeds the ranking and encourages teams to cut waste without extra admin.
